IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Has a degree in theology, biblical studies, or related field.
Must have 3+ years experience in pastoral leadership.
Is Ordained in a Bible-based church.
Biblically Grounded-Committed to scripture and sound doctrine (1Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; Ephesians 4:11-12).
Outward-Focused-Passionate about missions, outreach, evangelism, and making a difference beyond the church walls.
A Visionary Leader with a well-developed perspective on the future of the church.
Caring & Shepherding-A skilled leader who nurtures, counsels, and prays for the congregation.
Clear Communicator-Effectively teaches and preaches the gospel with clarity and conviction.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and deliver Biblical-sound sermons;
Engage with members and prospects;
Visit homebound and sick;
Partner with elders, deacons, church officers and board as they perform the duties of the church;
Engage and mentor with the current youth/young adult pastor;
Be present 2 weekdays in church office;
Possess Computer skills and be PowerPoint proficient;
Perform general office administration.
