ICOM is hosting a “Youth Minister’s Day” at ONE Church in Fayetteville, GA that will be a day of encouragement, equipping and relaxation for everyone who attends!
This year we are adding a day of fun on the 10th. ONE church campus has their own disc golf course, pickleball courts, basketball courts, cross country course, beautiful pond for some tranquil space to decompress and more. Take advantage of a day of fun, rest and relationship building before taking in a firehose of wisdom from Jayson French (President of Christ In Youth) and many others.
Because the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ don’t have a board or governing body, it falls to the churches themselves to celebrate and that’s what we intend to do!
We plan to start at 9 am and end at 2-3 pm. And to make this worth it for you, we have invited someone special to be with us. We’re excited to bring in a special Guest, Jayson French, President of Christ In Youth. You will not go home empty handed! Lots of freebies, giveaways, and hopefully maybe some new friends contact information that will lend to some collaboration or communication after this day is over.
Youth Ministry is all about scratching backs, helping one another. Lunch provided and everything is FREE!!
Special Guest: Jayson French
Jayson is CIY’s President. He’s been with CIY since 2002 when he started as the Associate Director of Conferences before being promoted to Director of Conferences and then to his current role as Executive President. Jayson has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the Hargrove School and Adult and Graduate Studies at Lincoln Christian College. Prior to joining CIY, Jayson was a youth minister at Christian Church of Carl Junction (MO); Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton, CA; East Tulsa Christian Church; and Paramount Terrace Church (now Hillside Christian Church) in Amarillo, Texas. He and his wife Janice have four children – Justin, Levi, Sydney, and Cylis. Their family attends Christ’s Church of Oronogo near Joplin, MO.
