Overview
FIGHT Ministries is seeking a dedicated, mission-minded individual to serve as a Missionary Staff Support team member in the Dominican Republic.
This role exists to come alongside our on-the-ground Director and staff—strengthening daily operations, increasing effectiveness, and helping carry out the mission of restoration.
This is a hands-on, relational position for someone who is flexible, servant-hearted, and willing to step into a variety of roles as needed.
Requirements
Applicants do not need all of the following, but strengths in any area are highly valued:
Business or organizational management
Human resources or team leadership
Maintenance, construction, or facility care
Teaching or training experience
Administrative or operational support
Cross-cultural ministry experience (a plus, not required)
Spanish-speaking ability (strongly encouraged)
Strong and growing Christian faith
Heart for missions and serving others
Adaptable, teachable, and team-oriented
Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
Ability to live and serve in a cross-cultural environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Support the Director in daily ministry operations
Assist in organizing and strengthening systems and processes
Provide encouragement, support, and leadership to local staff
Help ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of ministry programs
Step into practical needs such as coordination, communication, and logistics
Contribute to a positive, Christ-centered team culture
Serve in various capacities based on individual strengths and ministry needs
Technical Requirements
Basic computer proficiency (email, documents, spreadsheets, and communication tools)
Ability to learn and use ministry systems and tools as needed
Reliable communication skills (phone, messaging apps, and internet-based platforms)
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
Willingness to obtain necessary visas and comply with residency requirements
Ability to live in and adapt to the conditions of the Dominican Republic
Spanish language skills or willingness to actively learn
Physically able to participate in daily ministry activities as needed
