One of the most disempowering aspects of spiritual abuse is in how it silences the abused. For every “99” the shepherd helps through the “acceptable” issues of discouragement, cross-cultural adjustment and burnout, there are the “ones” who are suffering in the silence created out of the fear of not “speaking against God’s anointed”. In this workshop, participants will learn how compassion and genuine curiosity can help the abused feel safe in sharing their stories as well as practical ways to help them begin the journey of healing and being able to trust again.
