Historically, the mission field has always been an unreached people group or a distant frontier in a far-off land. The nuances of a foreign language and the nature of an alien culture formed the bedrock need for a global missionary. However, migration trends of the last fifty years have created a new mission field, right in our own backyard. The next evangelical opportunity is not a distant dream, but a tangible reality.
