What would it look like if every Christian committed to living as a reproducing disciple maker to expand God’s kingdom? Jesus changed the world with a handful of fishermen and ordinary people. He discipled them and then commanded them to do the same with others. One might say that Jesus was a “mentor” for his disciples. The Apostles replicated what Jesus modeled for them with the first century church. Paul modeled it with Timothy, Titus and others, and he instructed them to continue to be faithful to make disciples. The Biblical Mentorship Workshop (another way to describe “disciple-making”) is a simple training, to encourage and equip Christians to intentionally journey with one or more people, to be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do what Jesus did, and repeat it with others.
