This workshop will help you mobilize your church for community outreach. Can you imagine if your congregation responded to your communities' unmet needs and solved societal problems, just like Nehemiah did when he built the wall? This vision isn't too ambitious—when God is at work, this can be reality! So how is that achieved? Is there a formula or silver bullet? No. But there are guiding principles and steps to help us get there. This workshop will explore six principles/steps that will help lead your church to transformative engagement in your community: prayer, building a leadership foundation, creating strategic plans, recruiting leaders, partnering with the community, and mobilizing your people to accomplish the God-inspired vision and mission.
